Exam video batch for music teachers
For teachers with many candidates: a saved candidate list, file names from a pattern, a preflight for every video and compression one file after another.
How the batch works
Nothing is uploaded. Your video, candidate names and pieces stay in this browser; the checking and the compressing run on your own device.
Save each candidate once: names, instrument, board, grade and the programme. When the videos come in, add them to the queue. Gradereel matches a file to a candidate when the surname is in the file name, and you can change the match. Each video is checked against its own candidate's board, so one queue can hold a performance grade, a digital grade and a recorded exam side by side.
Names come from your pattern, made safe for the board, or from the fixed pattern on the board that has one. Videos over the limit are compressed one after another, each with the sound copied untouched; videos already under it are offered under the new name. One file at a time? Use the video check. The file name guide explains each board's rule.
